invite to Maiden Niger CULTUREPRENUER Summit

By Abdullberqy U Ebbo

The CULTUREPRENUER Summit is planned as a forum for partners in the arts and ceramics world to address the need to aggregate ideas, synchronise packages and standardise end products of glass, ceramics, brass, cotton and raffia, derived mainly
from Niger cultural resources for purposes of investment, trade exchange and export.

The symposium and consequent roundtable discussion will hopefully create a platform where delegates across the 25 local goverment councils will discuss key issues of common interest, develop operable/workable framework, share new ideas and insights on topics ranging from funding investments, standardisation/registration of products, enterprising (commercialising/monetising) cultural initiatives, reforming/reworking strategies (on how to research/explore/excavate raw materials), and  developing and packaging end products for domestic and international markets.

The summiteers (participants) will also be expected to raise suggestions on sustaining the economic viability of the Nigeria Cultural Heritage for trade exchanges and the preservation of raw materials sites (Environmental Conservation) in the promotion of Ecotourism. More importantly however is the ultimate goal of  networking participants into a knowledge pool of individuals who will partner with the state government to train youth and women, as part of the state's empowerment scheme.

BENEFITS OF ATTENDING:
The breakout symposium/roundtable session is intended to create a platform for excellent networking opportunities for various professionals in leading allied industries. These include manufacturers, investors, creative groups, exporters of products/finds, technicians/processors and research agencies, mainly in and around the production of (1) Glass making (2) Ceramics (3) Brass (4) Cotton Wave (5) Raffia.
