Committee Report on Niger State-BOI Partnership: COS Reiterates Bello’s Commitment

The Chief of Staff to Governor Abubakar Sani Bello, Hon. Mikail Al-Amin Bmitosahi, has reiterated the governor’s commitment to the progress and all-round development of Niger state.

Appreciating the commitment of the Technical Committee in handling and delivering its report on the planned partnership between the state and the Bank of Industry on the development of cottage industry in the state within agreed time, Bmitosahi pledged to support the project to its logical conclusion. 

That Restoration Agenda of the Administration of Governor Sani Bello, according to him, is focused on restoring the lost glories of the state in terms of job and wealth creation, especially among youth and women. 

He explained Governor Bello is worried by the level of neglect of natural endowments indigenous to the State by previous administrations, a development which has occasioned low level of improvement of the state’s cottage industries.

According to him, the governor believes and is ever ready to invest in any project which has its practical sustainability and principal focus within the ferment of state-located natural endowments, as such would naturally give the citizens impact and allow socio-economic development.

He assured government would answer the prayers and recommendations contained in the Report for good service delivery to the people. 

The Technical Committee, headed by the Perm Secretary, Economic Affairs in the SSG's office, which comprised all relevant MDAs and Private Sector participants, COS’s office.
